I've been riding on the new road wheels for about two months now and am extremely happy with them. I've been using them on my regular commute to work (a 60km return trip) two or three times a week, so I think they've been getting a suitably good workout. I've had absolutely no issues with the wheels. They inspire confidence.
I also wanted to say thanks for matching the custom build of the wheels so well to my needs. It's just great to see that the individual needs/wants that I described to you have come through so well in the parts package that you pulled together for me. For the primary purpose I want to use them (a road-based commute to work, not racing), the wheels are an excellent balance of strength, weight and cost. The extra width of the rims, relative to my old wheels, are proving a great bonus is sucking up some of the bumps, potholes and gutters that I inevitably come across in my commute. I've already hit a few unavoidable potholes in the time I've had the wheels and there has been no impact on the rims or wheel alignment.
Equally, I haven't had to sacrifice weight or rolling resistance to get that extra strength and durability. These new wheels are lighter, stronger, stiffer and roll faster than my old Mavics. I couldn't be happier with the package. Thanks Greg.

Ony had a short ride this morning. Wheels feel strong and roll real fast. Good job!
Fully built up with road tyres (28s) and Ultegra cassette they saved nearly 900gr over prev slick shod MTB wheelset!! That's a big load of rotating mass.

Thanks for the bottles. Finally got a chance to go for a decent ride - the weather has been terrible. Very impressed, I've not had decent wheels before, they make a huge difference.

A belated note to advise that our track wheels arrived on Tuesday, in
time for the National Junior Championships. They roll beautifully,
and seemingly forever. Robert loves them. The package had taken a
knock and the front wheel was out of true, and has simply been
corrected at the local bike store.
We look forward to receiving the remaining pairs.
